OPTIMIZING GREEN SUKUK DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES TOWARD ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC IN INDONESIA

Abstrak

The issue of environmental conservation in Islam is not new, it cannot be denied that the discussion of environmental issues in the Islamic perspective is in the spotlight of various parties as the issue of global warming and climate change increases. This research is to identify the potential and challenges of developing green sukuk in order to realise the 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 13th sustainable development goals in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative research approach and the type of research used is descriptive research using the SWOT analysis method. The SWOT matrix produces several strategies, including expanding cooperative relationships with various countries to build trust, maintaining a large market potential, providing a positive and attractive image of green sukuk products, improving quality and quality as an alternative to Islamic financing, conducting more intensive socialisation and promotion to companies, especially Islamic companies, following the development of banking now by involving financial institutions,  such as banks and financing institutions, which currently have an important role in the banking sector and finally by creating new business strategies.
