Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the form and level of Islamic financial inclusion in Indonesia and its contribution to accelerating the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research integrates secondary data obtained from official reports of Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), Bank Indonesia, and BAZNAS, as well as relevant academic publications. The thematic analysis method was applied to explore four key dimensions of Islamic financial inclusion accessibility, affordability, product suitability, and social empowerment in relation to SDGs 1 (No Poverty), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 13 (Climate Action). The findings reveal that Indonesia’s Islamic finance industry, with total assets reaching IDR 2,582 trillion in 2023, continues to grow yet faces structural challenges such as low literacy levels (9.1%) and limited geographic access (12.12%). Initiatives like Bank Wakaf Mikro, Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT), and Islamic fintech have improved financial access for low-income communities, while social finance instruments such as ZISWAF play a crucial role in empowering local economies. The study concludes that strengthening literacy, expanding digital infrastructure, and integrating social and commercial Islamic finance are key to accelerating inclusive and sustainable economic growth. The results provide practical implications for policymakers, financial institutions, and scholars in designing innovative, ethical, and sustainable Islamic financial ecosystems toward Indonesia Emas on 2045.
